Unlike recently Ellis was a werewolf. Due to his connections to the Mikaelson family he has found himself a hybrid under Hope's line.

PERSONALITY
Ellis has changed from the person that he was when he was younger. Before he had accidentally killed a boy a triggered the wolf curse. Even now he has a tendency to be a shy person. It was worse when he was in high school. In high school he had to have his friends force him to go to parties and hang out with people outside of the group. It was the events of a party that caused him to totally close off from people.

When he left his hometown for New Orleans he decided to put on a brave face. That way it would be easy to hide what he was. He didn't know about all the magic there. He put out that he was confident, ladies man, and social individual. He would be the outgoing person in the group but no one really knew anything about him. His name but that wasn't really anything important. He never even talked about his family or what he did in his spare time when he wasn't hanging out with random tourist.

When he first met Hope he rubbed her the wrong way. He found himself slowly breaking down his walls with her.

Since dying he has found himself sired to her. Becoming more protective and vocal where she is concerned. Even against the big, bad Klaus.

HISTORY
Ellis was raised by his mother and step father, neither of which are wolves but the bloodline carried in him. He was raised in a world away from magic, vampires, and other supernatural creatures. It wasn't until he was older that he found out that there was a part of his life that he didn't know about.

He triggered his wolf when he was sixteen years old. It was an drunken accident at a friend of a friend's party. He never even wanted to go but his friends tended to drag him around places. It was there was of making sure that he had a social life. It didn't turn out how they wanted it to. It was the worst night of Ellis' life and he couldn't talk to anyone about it. There was no way that anyone would understand.

After his first full moon he pulled away from his group of friends. He moved to New Orleans when he graduated high school. That's where he met Hope Mikaelson. At first the two couldn't stand each other but their banter soon turned to flirting. He isn't sure what it going to turn into but he never met anyone quite like her. She was the one person that found her way behind all the walls that he built after he trigggered his curse.

It was while he was walking home from seeing a movie with her that an enemy of the Mikaelsons got a hold of him. There was some taunting that he was being held captive. By the time they found him he was alone and near death. Hope gave him some of her blood to heal him. While they were walking him out of the warehouse something attacked them. Knocking Hope away from Ellis. Before any of them could react the vampire snapped Ellis' neck.

As one could imagine he didn't last long after that. Ellis woke up in the Mikaelson manor that was taken back from Marcel. He was explained what was happening. It took him almost the whole day to decide to complete his transition.
